These are classic pencils that you sharpen with a plastic cap. They are available from elf’s website, as well as Amazon and Walmart.

elf Cosmetics claims that these lip liner pencils should be super creamy to glide on with no tugging and ultimately shape and fill in your lips. The formula should have high color payoff and a semi-matte finish. You may wear them alone or under your favorite lip color.

To apply, simply start from the center of your lips and move outwards to the corners. It is always best to start with a sharp tip – elf offers a sharpener or you can use your favorite one on hand.

I know that many are not fans of the elf Love Triangle Lip Filler Liner because of the dryer formula. That does not bother me, but, the Cream Glide line is a better pick for you. These pencils glide on effortlessly with zero skipping or tugging. The pigmentation is full-on right away.

Whether you sharpen the pencil or not, you get ultimate control and precision. The formula is absolutely semi-matte. On the day that I tested these, I ate a soggy and messy wrap for dinner. I was shocked by how much of the liner stayed in place! You will love wearing these on your own or under your favorite lip color. My current favorite application is under the elf Glow Revier Lip Oil. The shade range is suitable for pairing with most lip looks. Of course, I will not say no if elf wants to drop more shades!
